Enrollment

Enrolling your student in AISN is easy!

Priority is given to those who have a verifiable requirement for an American curriculum. First priority will be given to returning students in good standing who have demonstrated successful academic performance and who do not require learning assistance.

Second priority will be given for new enrolment in the following order:

  1. Students for whom both of the parents and child have USA citizenship, previous schooling in the USA or equivalent overseas school and English language proficiency
  2. Students for whom one parent and child have USA citizenship, previous schooling in the USA or equivalent overseas school and English language proficiency
  3. Students who have USA citizenship, previous schooling in the USA or equivalent overseas school and English language proficiency
  4. Students for whom one or more of the parents have USA citizenship but the child requires ESL support

Third priority will be given to students whose parents are on temporary assignment within the AISN community, like working at an embassy or UN Organization. Students must have previous schooling and English language proficiency in order to be admitted.

Age Criteria
  • Students enrolling in the Pre-Kindergarten must be 3years of age on or before October 1st.
  • Students enrolling in the Kindergarten must be 5 years of age on or before October 1st.
  • Entrance ages for other grades are based on a student’s age as of October 1st as well as his/her academic records.
  • Students whose age at high school graduation will exceed by two years the normal age for graduation will not be enrolled in the school.
